#65: Simplify your process.
1 Minute To-Do List (Method)
The most simple & surprisingly efficient method to manage your to-do list. Try this method if you tried numerous ways to accomplish your day’s goal and nothing works for you.
It’s called 1MTD (1 Minute to-do list) which is suitable for handling 20 to 100 tasks at a time in your list.
The idea is so simple.
You’ll have 3 lists.
Critical Now
Opportunity Now
Over the Horizon
1MTD Workflow
The “Critical Now” section can only have a maximum of 5 tasks at a given time. These are the tasks that need to be done immediately or next. This is your current focus area at any given time. Reviewed often and strived to be completed within that day.
The “Opportunity Now” section may contain around 20 tasks that can be done when the opportunity arises for it. Not urgent. No need to focus more on it. But you’ll have an eye on it. Maybe reviewed every few hours.
The “Over the Horizon” section contains tasks that don’t need to be completed today. But shortly. You don’t want these tasks to block your sight. Yet you want to be aware of these upcoming tasks. Review weekly or every few days.
This is the simple crux of this workflow. So simple, easy to follow, and wonderfully effective. Needs less energy as it requires little to no reviews to function properly.
Things 3 (if you’re with the Apple ecosystem) would be the simplistic app to implement this workflow. Check this tutorial. But this method works with almost every app out there. With Things 3’s drag-and-drop feature, I love implementing this workflow in Things more than other To-Do list apps.
If you have 100+ tasks and multiple projects, then try MYN (Master Your Now) method.
Both methods are developed by Michael Linenberger.

Unraid - Your Hardware on Cloud
Yes, you can now have your hardware (and software) set up somewhere else (like a cloud). Just mentioning here for those who don’t know about this.
Why do I need a service like this? Check Unraid.net for numerous use cases.
Building top-performing teams
Just ask for 85% effort. Why?
Here’s what actually works: the 85% rule. The 85% rule counterintuitively suggests that to reach maximum output, you need to refrain from giving maximum effort. Operating at 100% effort all of the time will result in burnout and ultimately less-optimal results.
